The Treatment
What a lift actually does
Your lashes are set onto a silicone shield sized to your lid, then a gentle solution softens and re-forms the curl from the root. The result reads as more length because lashes that pointed downward are now pointing up and out — the same lashes, redirected.
Shield size is the decision that matters. Too large and the curl is flat, too small and the lashes kink. Hooded lids, deep-set eyes and short lower-lid space all change what works, so I choose the shield after looking at your eye, not before.
Tint is applied afterwards with an ammonia-free dye. It darkens the fair tips that usually vanish without mascara, which is what makes a lift look finished in photos.

If your natural lashes are very short or sparse, a lift will not add what is not there. In that case eyelash extensions will get you closer to what you are picturing.

Questions clients ask
How long does a lash lift last?
Six to eight weeks for most clients. There are no refills and nothing to maintain — the curl relaxes gradually as your lashes grow out. Because a lift works on the lashes you already have, you have to wait for the full cycle before lifting again.
What is the difference between a lash lift and extensions?
A lift changes the direction of your own lashes. Extensions add lashes you do not have. A lift is subtle and maintenance-free; extensions give length and density and need refills every two to three weeks.
Do I need the tint as well?
If your lashes are dark, the lift alone may be enough. If the tips are fair, tint is what makes the difference between a nice curl and a visible one. Lift and tint together is CA$108, which is why most clients book them as a pair.
Is the tint safe?
The dye used here is gentle and ammonia-free. Your eyes stay closed throughout and the product sits on the lashes, not the eye. Tell me about any past reaction to hair dye or tint before your appointment.
How long is the appointment?
About 1 hour 20 minutes for a lift with tint. You lie down with your eyes closed the whole time.
What should I avoid afterwards?
No water, steam or eye makeup for 24 hours, and no mechanical curlers afterwards. After that, nothing — which is the point of a lift.
Can I have a lift if I wear contact lenses?
Yes, but take them out before the treatment. Bring your case.
